Ski area Nassfeld

Put on your skis, grab your helmet and away you go! Are you looking for the perfect ski challenge for the day ahead? There are plenty of them in the Nassfeld ski area! 110 kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels offer the perfect descent for everyone, from beginners to professionals.

Numerous rustic huts and culinary delicacies make your stay in the mountains even more pleasant. And from above, the regular guest in Nassfeld, the radiant sun, puts the fun in the right light.

Thanks to the special microclimate of the Nassfeld region, there is almost always enough snow for you. After all, this part of the Carnic Alps is known for its abundant snowfall. The stage is all yours: what highlight on the slopes will it be for you today?

Ski area Weißbriach

The Weissbriach ski area is a real family area for children and/or adults who are starting to ski. There are 5 kilometers of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. You have access to a total of 4 elevators. This winter sports area is located at an altitude of 820 to 1150 meters. Once you have mastered the first meters, you can continue practicing in the Nassfeld ski area.

Tobogganing

In the Dreiländereck ski area, families will find a comfortable natural snow toboggan run: the 8.4 kilometer long toboggan run is an experience for children and parents. The tobogganing fun that takes winter sports enthusiasts down into the valley via open spaces and romantic forest paths seems almost endless. The long climb is also not necessary on this toboggan run: families use the three-country jet for a comfortable climb. Once at the top, the path to the toboggan run is well signposted.

The Rattendorf toboggan run stretches over 2 kilometers and the starting point is just a 30-minute walk away. The illuminated route of the Almweg winds down into the valley via countless hairpin bends. Toboggan enthusiasts can whiz across the glittering white carpet until 10 p.m.

When the treetops shine in the moonlight and the peace and quiet has settled, then it really begins at the Guggenberg in Hermagor. Tobogganing enthusiasts can eat and drink at the Hauserhof or the Waldemar. Warm up and take the toboggan run 2 kilometers further.

In Weissbriach, a 3 kilometer long toboggan run awaits winter enthusiasts. And what’s the icing on the cake when it comes to tobogganing? An authentic evening in the Berggeisthütte before you descend back into the valley at full speed!
